DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.5 cm high). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the basket (0.9 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.7 cm). These narrower warp splints are interspersed with slightly wider splints (1.3cm) The warp splint on the sides of the lid (0.8 cm) and the top of the lid (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.3 cm). The narrow warp splints on the basket and most of the warp splints on the lid are dyed green. The wider warp splint on the basket and the remainder of the warp splints on the lid are dyed pink. The rim on the basket and lid are wood splints that are wrapped in wood splints. Collections
