DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming circular opening. The lid is circular (3.5 cm high). The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints on the lid (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (1.2 cm). Most of the warp splints on the basket (1.4 cm) are wider than the weft splints. On the side of the lid and around the bottom of the basket is two rows of wider splints between which is a row of diamond jikiji’j. Above the jikiji’j on the basket is three rows of narrow splints. In the center of the lid is several rows of sweet grass. And a bow of bent wood splints. The rim of the basket is single wrapped wood splint and the rim of the lid is single wrapped sweet grass.
