DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side transition from square to a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (1.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (0.4 cm). Around the middle of the basket sis a row of diamond jikiji’j. The warp splints on the basket as well as the side of the lid are dyed blue. On the top of the lid the warp splints are replaced with green dyed sweet grass. The rim of the basket is single bound wood splint and the rim of the lid is single wrapped green dyed sweet grass.
