DescriptionRectangular basket and lid with braided sweetgrass as well as wood splits. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp consists of braided sweetgrass. The top of the basket has a warp splint (1.4 cm) is wider than the weft splints (1.2 cm). The rim of the basket is a single bound wood splint. The wood splints are died orange. The lid is also made up of braided sweetgrass woven through wood splints. The rim of the lid is single bound sweetgrass. Collections
