DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side widen to form a larger circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (1.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.3 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (0.2 cm). The basket and lid are almost entirely covered in jikiji’j. In the center of the lid is several rows of sweet grass. Attached to the center of the lid is loops of green wood splints. The rim of the basket is single bound wood splint and the rim of the lid is single wrapped sweet grass. Collections
