DescriptionRectangular fishing creel with an attached lid. The creel is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (1.1 cm) is narrower than the weft splints (2.0 cm). The lid is solid wood with a hole on one side and is attached to the creel with two leather strips at the back. There is another piece of leather attached to the front of the lid. The rim of the creel is wood splints nailed to the creel. Collections
