DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (1.5 cm) are the wider that the weft splints (1.2 cm). Around the top of the basket is a single row of a slightly narrower splint (0.7 cm). Around the middle of the basket is two rows of a very narrow splint(0.1 cm) that border a splint of the middle width. Looping through the narrowest splints is a row of jikiji’j. Around the bottom of the basket between two rows of the widest splint is a single row of diamond jikiji’j. The rim is single wrapped wood splint and the warp splints are dyed pink. Collections
