DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.5 cm high). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The lid has concentric rings alternating between plain wood splints and jikiji’j. The jikiji’j also alternate with two rows of diamond jikiji’j and one row of a different design. The basket has three rows of narrow splints (0.3 cm) around the top. The remainder of the basket consists of three wider splints (1.3 cm) between which is two rows of diamond jikiji’j. The rim on the lid and the basket are single wrapped sweet grass. Collections
