DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are flared to form a larger circular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints vary in width (1.3 cm and 2.5 cm) while the weft splints (2.3 cm) are all one width. The wider splints are mostly grouped in pairs. Around the bottom of the basket is a row of jikiji’j which are dyed purple. The rim of the basket is single wrapped sweet grass. The splint that is wrapped around the sweet grass is also purple.
