DescriptionWoven basket with a square base. The side are straight forming a square opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints (1.5 cm) are the narrower that the weft splints (1.7 cm). Around the middle of the basket is two rows of a narrower warp splint (0.4 cm). Around the top and near the bottom is a pair of rows that are decorated with different jikiji’j. The warp and weft splints are dyed green and the jikiji’j are dyed pink. The rim is single wrapped sweet grass. Collections
