DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (3.0 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (2.0 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (2.6 cm). Around the top and about 1/3 of the way from the bottom is a row of diamond jikiji’j that bridge 2 warp splints. At the bottom of the basket is a row of “X” oven around the warp splints. The lid consists of two widths of war splints (0.3 cm and 0.8 cm) with the wider closer to the middle of the lid. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
