DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (2.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp and weft splints on the basket (1.0cm) are the same width. The warp splints alternate between the normally woven and rows of jikiji’j. The warp splints on the lid (0.6 cm) are narrower than the weft splint (1.1 cm) The lid also has a single row of jikiji’j at the edge of the lid. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
