DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket (1.4 cm) are wider than the weft splints (1.3 cm). Near the top of the basket is a row of diamond jikiji’j. Most of the warp splints on the lid (0.7 cm) are narrower than the weft splints (0.8 cm). Around the edge of the lid is two wider warp splints (0.9 cm) between which is a row of diamond jikiji’j. The rim of the basket and the lid are single bound wood splint. Collections
