DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The sides are straight forming a circular opening. The basket has a circular lid (4.5 cm). The basket and lid are woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints on the basket are two different widths (1.7cm and 1.0 cm) which are narrower than the weft splints (2.0 cm). The basket is decorated with interlocking lines of diamond jikiji’j. The warp splints on the lid (0.5 cm) are narrower than most of the weft splints. The weft splints alternate between two widths (1.0 cm and 0.4 cm). The rim of the basket is single bound wood splint and the rim of the lid is double bound wood splint. Collections
