DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side are straight forming a circular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. Most of the warp splints of the basket (1.3 cm) are wider than the weft splints (1.1 cm). Around the middle of the basket is two rows of sweet grass that are set between two rows of a narrower warp splint (0.2 cm). Around the bottom of the basket is a row of diamond jikiji’j that is positioned between two rows of the warp splints. The rim of the basket is single wrapped wood splint. Collections
