DescriptionWoven basket with a circular base. The side narrow and then flare to form a larger circular opening. The basket is woven in a one-over-one-under checker pattern. The warp splints (0.9) are narrower than the weft splints (1.6 cm). Near the top of the basket there is two rows of diamond jikiji’j that bridge two rows of splints each. The jikiji’j form an “X” design. The rim of the basket single wrapped sweetgrass. The wood splints have all been dyed green. Collections
